Jerome "Jerry" Fitzpatrick of Katy, Texas died peacefully on August 12, 2024 at Memorial West Hospital, Houston from an inoperable brain tumor.
Mr. Fitzpatrick was born in New Berlin, Wisconsin on September 3, 1955, the son of Samuel Fitzpatrick and Patrice Marshall. He moved to Texas after obtaining a computer engineering degree from the University of Wisconsin in 1978. He was an avid traveler and animal rights advocate.
>Surviving are his wife Cindy of Katy, brother Brent (Barbra) Fitzpatrick of Montello, Wisconsin, sister Maria (James) Sorkin of Missoula, Montana. He is also survived by many close colleagues and friends.
Visitation will be held on August 14 at the Schmidt Funeral Home from 5:00-7:00 PM. Funeral services will be held on August 17 at 10:00 AM, with burial at Memorial Oaks Cemetery, Houston.
