GeniML (pronounced 'jeenie em el') is an XML vocabulary for recording and exchanging genealogical data. The vocabulary is an evolving specification developed and maintained by the Software Renovation Corporation in association with the Yahoo GenealogyXML discussion group.
Comprehensive GeniML object model and vocabulary proposal is now available for download. The zip file includes a 59-page PDF document and four GeniML examples:
